RoboPech is a cannabis menu data repository/website run by Daniel Pechal. It assists PA MMJ patients compare dispensary menus by publicly available menu data.
What RoboPech keeps about you
- From Google, when you sign in: Google sends your account ID, name, email address and a link to your profile picture. That’s all RoboPech asks Google for, and it never sees your Google password. RoboPech keeps only the account ID and the picture link (for the circle in the account menu). Your email address is never stored, only a one-way scrambled version used to check that you’re on the list. The name Google sends isn’t kept at all.
- What you type when you make your account: your username and first and last name, all stored encrypted, plus the date you checked that you’re 21 or over and agreed to this policy. RoboPech doesn’t ask for or keep your date of birth.
- Account dates: when you joined (shown as Date Joined on your profile) and when you last signed in.
- What you choose to save: a home spot (a zip code or a dispensary), your favorite search settings, strains you star, and trips you add to your profile.
- Saved trips: the picks in your basket when you tap “Add trip to profile,” each with its price, weight, THC and terpenes from the menu at that moment, labeled with the dispensaries they’re from. Never the zip code or location you searched from. Your last 200 trips are kept, and you can remove any of them on your History page.
- A snapshot of each strain you star (its price, weight, THC, terpenes and type at that moment) for your Wallet Watch and terp taste stats.
- A light history, so your profile stats work: which strains landed in your top results and which dispensaries you searched by name, plus how many times. Never your location or the zip codes you search. “Clear my history” on your Settings page erases it.
- A sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in for up to 90 days. RoboPech stores only a scrambled (hashed) copy of it.
What it doesn’t keep
- Your exact location. If you tap “Use my location,” your coordinates are used once to find nearby dispensaries and aren’t saved or logged.
- Your search details. The zip codes, locations and filters you search with aren’t saved to your account, your trips or the logs. (A zip code you pick as your home spot is the one exception, and only because you saved it.)
- Your date of birth, your Google password, or the name on your Google account.
- No ads, no analytics or tracking scripts, and no selling or sharing your information.
Other services your browser talks to
- Google, for signing in, your profile picture and the page’s fonts.
- Dispensary menu sites (like Dutchie, Jane, Sweed and Hytiva), which serve the product photos directly to your browser.
- OpenStreetMap, which serves the map pictures on the first page. It sees which map area your browser loads, not who you are.
- Tailscale, which provides the secure (https) connection to RoboPech.
Each of those has its own privacy policy.
Keeping it safe
Everything is sent over an encrypted https connection, and only people who have signed in can use the site. RoboPech’s data lives on a private server and is backed up every night to two separate backups. Both are encrypted. One is kept for 14 days and the other for 5 days, and only accessible by myself (Dan Pechal).
Deleting your data
On your Settings page, Delete my account erases everything RoboPech has about you right away: your profile, home spot, favorites, saved strains, trips and history. Any copies left in the backups are gone within 14 days. You can also ask to have your data deleted: [email protected].
Not medical advice
RoboPech’s suggestions are based on published menu and lab data and common terpene associations. They aren’t medical advice. Talk to a dispensary pharmacist or budtender about what’s best.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change too.
